My car kept going into limp mode and wouldn’t accelerate, and I couldn’t figure out what was causing the issue. After taking it to Reliance Auto Mechanic, they quickly diagnosed the problem and found that a sensor cable had been chewed by a rat! They repaired the wiring and now my car runs like brand new. Amazing experience. Really smart and professional people, and they actually know what they’re doing. I had a check engine light and took it to multiple shops, and nobody could fix it. Then Reliance was recommended to me. Not only were they able to troubleshoot the issue in a short time, but they also gave me multiple options to go with instead of just pushing one fix. Needed to have my vehicle inspected and booked an appointment with Reliance. It was a very professional and pleasant experience going to Reliance. The service was friendly and on time. The person at the desk took my keys at the time the appointment was scheduled and told me that the inspection was going to take an hour. The inspection took less than an hour (50 minutes) and after paying the bill and getting into my car to leave, the appointment took approximately the hour I was quoted. The people at the front desk were personable and helpful, which definitely deserves mentioning. I will bringing my car to this shop again and will highly recommend them to family and friends.

Thank god for this mechanic shop! If your a hybrid owner save your time and money and go here forget the dealership! My kia optima 2012 hybird had a fried cell in the hybrid battery. The Dealership said they wont fix a single cell but would have to replace entire hybrid battery! Paul was awesome to deal with! They fixed my single bad cell and a very good price. Good job guys definitely will be recommending this shop to all hybrid owners.

I am so thankful to Reliance Auto Mechanic and Mohammed in particular, for how my very first VW, a car that has been with me for many many years, was written off by insurance after a minor fender bender accident. I thought I’d never be able to see it on the road again. But thanks to the incredible skill and dedication of Mohammed, he brought it back to life and made it roadworthy once more. I admire Mo a lot as he works as if it is his own vehicle and the repair he did, exceeded my expectations. Also, Ujwala the front desk receptionist was extremely kind, patient, and helpful throughout the process, of getting all the necessary government procedures complied with and making everything easy for me. I've never experienced such great service before. CAA towed me in at 5:50pm after experiencing my engine overheating as I was about to jump on the 407 to drive home to Ottawa. They close at 6pm but, diagnosed the issue (cracked thermostat housing), were able to get the part and stayed until 7:30pm to get me home that evening!! To my surprise, they called me the next day to follow up that I had arrived home safely. I can't say enough about my experience, they turned what could have been a terrible day to absolutely memorable. I HIGHLY RECCOMEND Reliance if you live in the GTA.
